Add the "GRIP" editable

description

Hi Gentlemen, First, congratulations for your work. I write you not for a bug, but rather for an improvement. What would be great, it's to be able to modify the "GRIP" in the ToolStrip and also in the right bottom corner. Or if you have a solution, I'm open. My goal is to get the same "GRIP" that VS2012 (Visual Studio 2012). Thank you in advance. Rgds, Daniel

Hello,

The whole idea of this app was generating color schemes for ToolStripProfessionalRenderer. If just modifying colors is not enough for you, you can go further and create your own renderer by deriving your class from ToolStripProfessionalRenderer, and overriding it's drawing methods. Here is what you can do:
  1. You can edit colors of the grip using GripDark and GripLight color table items. If you want to draw your own grip, like in VS2012, you can override OnRenderGrip method.
  2. You can edit colors of the overflow button (right side with arrow) by editing OverflowButtonGradientBegin/Middle/End colors. By default, .NET doesn't always display this button. I suggest you to set Overflow property of at least one button in your ToolStrip to Always (instead of AsNeeded). By doing this, overflow button would always be visible, like in VS2012.
Thanks.
